The 351 obtained bibliographical records are analysed through different bibliometric treatments in order to show its productive contribution, the information sources that the authors have used in connection with the topic of their works and the most interesting sources that have been used to constitute the intellectual basis of the journal. Se analiza la producción científica de Biocell, revista latinoamericana especializada en Biología Celular, registrada en el Science Citation ExpandendTM para el período 1995-2005. Los 351 registros bibliográficos obtenidos son sometidos a diversos tratamientos bibliométricos a fin de develar su aporte productivo, las fuentes de información que han utilizado los autores en relación con el tema de sus trabajos y aquellas fuentes de mayor interés que han servido para constituir la base intelectual de la revista.
