Soon, he advocated Portuguese belligerence, aligned with the powers of the Entente Cordiale and, coherently, joined the Portuguese Expeditionary Corps, as a volunteer. Aware of the unquestionable relevance of the confrontation, which resulted in the formation of a new world, he committed himself to the didactic task of disseminating the experience of the former combatant and the polyhedral reality intrinsic to the “Great Adventure”.
