For this purpose, this article examines contributions published by women and under women’s pseudonyms, as well as articles that appeared unsigned and male interventions around the issue of women and the war. The essay postulates that the magazine exhibited the fear of the masculinization of women as a result of the exercise of new roles by women during the war and, simultaneously, encouraged the implementation of liberal reforms that would allow the expansion of women’s civil and political rights under the condition that they did not neglect the domestic sphere, the privileged scenario of women’s life.   En el presente trabajo se analizan las interpretaciones en torno al impacto de la Gran Guerra entre las mujeres que se registran en el semanario La Nota desde su fundación en agosto de 1915 hasta finales del año 1918. Para ello, se examinan las contribuciones publicadas por mujeres y con pseudónimos de mujer, así como artículos y sueltos aparecidos sin firma e intervenciones masculinas en torno a la cuestión de las mujeres y la guerra. Se postula que la revista exhibió el temor a la indistinción sexual como resultado del ejercicio de nuevos roles por parte de las mujeres en el contexto de la guerra y simultáneamente alentó la ejecución de reformas liberales que permitieran ampliar los derechos civiles y políticos de las mujeres a condición de que éstas no descuidaran el ámbito doméstico, escenario privilegiado de la vida femenina.
