In order to make this work, several interviws were made to the students and spontaneously shared ítems emerged like child labor, cultural diversity and the different rasons why these people left school when they were kids. These thematic nodes allowed to interact and compare experiences. We will analyze in this paper the difficulties and achievements of these collective oral history workshops in adult education, and how this experience impact in the student’s life.  El presente trabajo describe y analiza la experiencia del taller de historia oral Cuento mi historia, en la Escuela Primaria para Jóvenes Adultos (EPJA), de la ciudad de Avellaneda, provincia de Buenos Aires, realizado durante el año 2015. La metodología adoptada fue la del relato de vida y las entrevistas se realizaron en forma colectiva. En el desarrollo del taller surgieron varios temas en común que permitieron interactuar y comparar experiencias, tales como el trabajo infantil, la diversidad cultural y las diferentes razones por las cuales esas personas abandonaron la escuela siendo niños y niñas.
