We analyze the occurrences of addressive hyperlinks in an exploratory corpus of short texts published in the Facebook Biography of Chilean subjects. We observe that the addressive hyperlink responds, on the one hand, to a possibility offered by the architecture of the platforms to 'notify' a user who has been named and, on the other, to the users’ needs to employ effective mechanisms to address others and thus confer interactivity. Thus, we propose the conception of the addressive hyperlink as a distinguishing form of address typical of digital discourse, whose analysis is framed from the perspective of vocatives and provides evidence of the short text as an autochthonous genre of digital discourse. En el presente artículo se describe la incidencia del hipervínculo apelativo en uno de los géneros de la comunicación digital, el texto breve, y se establecen las condiciones que justifican su aparición como una forma de apelación propia de este ámbito discursivo. Para ello, analizamos las ocurrencias de hipervínculos apelativos en un corpus exploratorio de textos breves publicados en la Biografía Facebook de sujetos chilenos. Lo observado indica que el hipervínculo apelativo responde, por un lado, a una posibilidad que ofrece la arquitectura de las plataformas de avisar al usuario que ha sido nombrado y, por otro, a la necesidad de los usuarios de utilizar mecanismos efectivos para apelar a otros y favorecer así la interacción. En este sentido, proponemos al hipervínculo apelativo como una forma de tratamiento propia del discurso digital, cuyo análisis se enmarca desde la perspectiva de los elementos vocativos, y que, además, caracteriza al texto breve como un género autóctono del medio digital.
