The magazine Sustancia —edited between 1939 and 1943— occupies a significant place in the intellectual field of Tucumán, in the period of institutionalization of the Humanities in the province. We will try to show its importance in the constitution of philosophical studies in the local environment. For this reason, we will analyze the social and material conditions of production of the speeches present in the journal, and then address the reception of philosophical ideas present there. This publication articulates two distinct types of receptions: those inherited from the anti–positivist project, and those related to the philosophies of existence, which acquired greater importance during the first Peronism. La revista Sustancia —editada entre 1939 y 1943— ocupa un lugar significativo en el campo intelectual tucumano en el período de institucionalización de las Humanidades en la provincia. Intentaremos mostrar su importancia en la constitución de los estudios filosóficos en el medio local. Para ello, analizaremos las condiciones sociales y materiales de producción de los discursos que aparecen en la revista, para luego abordar la recepción de ideas filosóficas allí presentes. Esta publicación articula dos tipos de recepciones bien diferenciadas: las heredadas del proyecto antipositivista y las relacionadas con las filosofías de la existencia, que adquieren mayor importancia durante el primer peronismo. La revue Sustancia —éditée entre 1939 et 1943— occupe une place importante dans le champ intellectuel de Tucuman, à l’époque de l’institutionnalisation des sciences humaines dans la province. Nous essaierons de montrer son importance dans la constitution des études philosophiques dans l’environnement local. Pour ce faire, nous analyserons les conditions sociales et les matériaux de production des discours présents dans la revue, puis nous aborderons la réception des idées philosophiques qui y sont présentes. Cette publication articule deux types de réceptions bien différenciées: celles héritées du projet anti-positiviste, et celles liées aux philosophies de l’existence, qui ont acquis une plus grande importance au cours du premier péronisme.
