The immanent critique of the song unfolds a historical-sociological commentary on the development of popular music in Paraguay, aiming to highlight the tension between the emergence of modern historical temporality and the efforts to contain its transformative force. The conclusions points to the exhaustion of the dynamic established between musical modernization and socioeconomic modernization throughout the 20th century. A partir de la versión del Purahéi Trio para la polca-canción "Lucerito Alba" (Eladio Martínez), lanzada en el disco Paraguay Purahéi (2014), se tematiza y se discute la relación entre modernización de la música popular y modernización socioeconómica. La crítica inmanente de la canción despliega un comentario histórico-sociológico sobre el desarrollo de la música popular en Paraguay interesado en poner en relieve la tensión que se establece entre la irrupción de la temporalidad histórica moderna y el esfuerzo para contener su fuerza transformadora. Las conclusiones apuntan para el agotamiento de la dinámica que se estableció entre modernización musical y modernización socioeconómica a lo largo del siglo XX. A partir da versão do Purahéi Trio para a polca-canção "Lucerito Alba", lançada no disco Paraguay Purahéi (2014), tematizo e discuto a relação entre modernização da música popular e modernização socioeconômica. A crítica imanente da canção desdobra um comentário histórico-sociológico sobre o desenvolvimento da música popular no Paraguay interessado em dar relevo à tensão que se estabelece entre a irrupção da temporalidade histórica moderna e o esforço para conter sua força transformadora. As conclusões apontam para o esgotamento da dinâmica que se estabeleceu entre modernização musical e modernização socioeconômica ao longo do século XX.
