Sumario:The rock opera Annette –by the trio Sparks & Carax– marks a musical, visual and social milestone in the context of its appearance, as it closes the door on the past as part of a future that it shows us installed and with signs of staying... even if it is not the one we expected. As an artistic-commercial product of fiction, our work is situated by antonomasia in the collective imaginary and in mutual feedback with it. It reflects and is reflected in reality, always imagined. This article takes an approach to its historical-social contexts and identifies some of the new paradigms and ideas-force of collective mentalities enunciated in this creation, through the qualitative analysis of its themes, narrative structure and symbolic language.
