As an artistic-commercial product of fiction, our work is situated by antonomasia in the collective imaginary and in mutual feedback with it. It reflects and is reflected in reality, always imagined. This article takes an approach to its historical-social contexts and identifies some of the new paradigms and ideas-force of collective mentalities enunciated in this creation, through the qualitative analysis of its themes, narrative structure and symbolic language. La ópera rock Annette –del trío Sparks & Carax– marca un hito musical, visual y social en el contexto de su aparición, pues echa el cerrojo al pasado siendo parte de un futuro al que nos muestra instalado y con visos de quedarse… aunque no sea el que esperábamos. Como producto artístico-comercial de ficción, la obra se sitúa por antonomasia en el imaginario colectivo y en retroalimentación mutua con éste. Refleja y se refleja en la realidad, siempre imaginada. Este artículo realiza un acercamiento a sus contextos histórico-sociales e identifica algunos de los nuevos paradigmas e ideas-fuerza de las mentalidades colectivas enunciados en esta creación a través del análisis cualitativo de sus temáticas, estructura narrativa y lenguaje simbólico. A ópera rock Annette –pelo trio Sparks & Carax– ressalta um marco musical, visual e social no contexto do seu aparecimento, pois fecha o passado ao fazer parte de um futuro que nos mostra instalado e com sinais de permanência... mesmo que não seja o que esperávamos. Como produto artístico-comercial de ficção, o nosso trabalho está situado por antonomásia no imaginário coletivo e no feedback mútuo com ele. Reflete e se reflecte na realidade, sempre imaginada. Este artigo aborda os seus contextos histórico-sociais e identifica alguns dos novos paradigmas e ideias-força das mentalidades coletivas enunciadas nesta criação através da análise qualitativa dos seus temas, estrutura narrativa e linguagem simbólica.
