In its ambiguity, “narration” names the current form of a typical polarity within the expansive movement of Argentinian criticism: literature and politics. The intensity of this genealogy is revealed in the resonances of this paradoxical movement, that make visible a self-consciousness of criticism, and have as a condition Panesi’s own method of criticism, a constructive procedure with time as an operator: the critical ethics of irony. Las fuerzas adversas (hacia y desde el relato) que se encuentran en el título La seducción de los relatos (2018) designan el equívoco en el cual Jorge Panesi lee una región polémica del presente de la crítica literaria en Argentina, una dinámica con la que a la vez perfila su matriz histórica. “Relato” nombra, en su equivocidad, la forma actual de la polaridad propia del movimiento expansivo de la crítica argentina: literatura y política. Esta genealogía revela su intensidad en las resonancias de ese movimiento paradojal, que hacen visible una consciencia de sí de la crítica y tienen como condición el estilo de pensamiento crítico de Panesi, un procedimiento constructivo cuyo operador es el tiempo: la ética crítica de la ironía.
