Thus, the treatment of the Petrine office is presented separately from a monarchical perspective and from a conciliarist one. This will make it possible to clarify some common problems among the interpreters of the political thought of Nicolás de Cusa that affect the coherence of the ecclesiological project El objetivo de este trabajo es presentar el modo en el cual Nicolás de Cusa (1401-1464) concibe la naturaleza, alcance y límites del poder papal en las dos consideraciones del Sacerdocio expuestas en De concordantia catholica (1433). Se presenta así por separado el tratamiento del cargo petrino desde una perspectiva monárquica y luego desde una conciliarista. Esto permitirá aclarar algunos problemas habituales entre los intérpretes del pensamiento político de Nicolás de Cusa que giran en torno de la coherencia del proyecto eclesiológico.
