A space still relatively “marginal” concerning the integration processes of the so-called MERCOSUR, although it contains an agrarian expansion front that from the beginning of the 70 decade presents as one of the most dynamic of the agrarian structure of Argentina: the known Umbral al Chaco. We will go into detail on those aspects related to the regulation of frontiers connected with the expansion process of the agrarian frontiers and its most recent transformation at the level of relationships between capital and labour. Partiendo de la noción de Formación Social de Fronteras, el trabajo presentado se centrará en el análisis de un ámbito caracterizado por la presencia de una frontera política múltiple (Argentina/Bolivia/Paraguay). Un ámbito aún relativamente “marginal" respecto a los procesos integrativos del denominado Mercosur aunque conteniendo un frente de expansión agraria que desde inicios de la década de los años setenta se presenta como uno de los más dinámicos de la estructura agraria Argentina: el denominado umbral al Chaco. Nos detendremos en forma pormenorizada en aquellos aspectos que, concerniendo a cuestiones de regulación de los ámbitos fronterizos, se vinculan con el proceso de expansión de la frontera agraria y sus transformaciones más recientes a nivel de las relaciones entre capital y trabajo.
