To this end, it begins with a conceptual approach to the problem of innovation and then continues with a historization of how sociocultural perspectives were incorporated in the health field in Latin America. Thus, it offers a historical perspective and a theoretical analysis of the relationship between anthropology and health issues. On the other hand, the article retrieves research trajectory and ongoing pedagogical projects of which the authors are part, as social anthropologists who teach in undergraduate and graduate courses related to health. For this reason, the article is based on an autoethnographic approach that also draws on statistical data provided by situated studies. El objetivo del artículo es formular lineamientos sobre los modos posibles de incorporar la antropología social en la formación de profesionales de ciencias de la salud a partir de los cambios que se están produciendo en los planes de estudio universitarios. Se comenzará con un abordaje conceptual sobre la problemática de la innovación para luego continuar con una historización del modo en que en América Latina se fueron incorporando las perspectivas socioculturales en el campo de la salud. El trabajo apela a una mirada histórica y un análisis teórico de la relación entre la antropología y la salud. Además, se basa en la trayectoria en investigación y en los proyectos pedagógicos de los que forman parte los autores, en tanto antropólogos sociales, en carreras vinculadas con la salud en grado y postgrado. Por ello, este artículo que se nutre además de datos estadísticos proporcionados por estudios situados. O objectivo deste artigo é formular orientações sobre possíveis formas de incorporar a antropologia social na formação de profissionais das ciências da saúde à luz das mudanças que ocorrem nos currículos universitários. Para tal, começaremos com uma abordagem conceptual do problema da inovação e depois continuaremos com uma historicização da forma como as perspectivas socioculturais foram incorporadas no campo da saúde na América Latina. Desta forma, o trabalho apela a uma perspectiva histórica e a uma análise teórica da relação entre a antropologia e o problema da saúde. Por outro lado, serão utilizadas carreira de investigação e projectos pedagógicos anteriores e actuais dos quais os autores fazem parte, como antropólogos sociais a ensinar em cursos de graduação e pós-graduação relacionados com a saúde. Por este motivo, este artigo baseia-se numa abordagem autoetnográfica que também se baseia em dados estatísticos fornecidos por um estudo realizado no terreno.
