It initially argues for the suitability of the term “communication” instead of “dissemination”. It then points out some general problems –the historian as communicator, the public, the role of the editor– and concludes with a reference to two very different historians with unique capacities for communication: Félix Luna and José Luis Romero. En este ensayo se examinan distintos aspectos de la comunicación en Historia, considerada como parte de la producción del saber histórico y de la formación del receptor. Inicialmente se argumenta sobre la conveniencia del uso del término “comunicación”, en lugar de “divulgación”. Luego se señalan algunos problemas generales –el historiador comunicador, el público, el papel del editor– y se concluye con la referencia a dos historiadores muy diferentes pero con una capacidad singular para la comunicación: Félix Luna y José Luis Romero.
