To do so, we will have as object the original dramaturgical text of this dramatic miniature according to Faber and Faber's edition of Beckett’s complete dramatic works and the theatrical notebooks containing manuscripts related to the creative process of the Irish playwright-director for his stagings of Footfalls at the Royal Court Theatre and at the Schiller-Theater Werkstatt, as well as the dramaturgical text revised according to the modifications proposed by Beckett in his manuscripts edited by Stanley Gontarski. As a guiding concept for this reflection, we will use what Gontarski (1998) calls "performance as text" in relation to the stagings directed by Samuel Beckett of some of his plays. The performative aspects elaborated by Beckett in both stagings will be examined in a comparative key in relation to the original dramaturgy of the play, as well as to the revised text, in order to point out the poetic elements present in Footfalls developed or enhanced by Beckett in each staging.  Este trabajo pretende presentar una reflexión sobre los elementos poéticos presentes en las puestas en escena de Footfalls de Samuel Beckett. Para ello, tendremos como objeto el texto dramatúrgico original de esta miniatura dramática según la edición de Faber and Faber de la obra dramática completa de Beckett y los cuadernos teatrales que contienen manuscritos relacionados con el proceso creativo del dramaturgo-director irlandés para sus montajes de Footfalls en el Royal Court Theatre y en el Schiller-Theater Werkstatt, así como el texto dramatúrgico revisado según las modificaciones propuestas por Beckett en sus manuscritos editados por Stanley Gontarski. Como concepto orientador de esta reflexión, utilizaremos lo que Gontarski (1998) denomina "performance como texto" en relación con las puestas en escena dirigidas por Samuel Beckett de algunas de sus obras. Los aspectos performativos elaborados por Beckett en ambas puestas en escena serán examinados en clave comparativa en relación con la dramaturgia original de la obra, así como con el texto revisado, con el fin de señalar los elementos poéticos presentes en Footfalls desarrollados o potenciados por Beckett en cada puesta en escena.
