Analizo cuatro pasajes tomados de los ‘comentarios de autor’ en la historia de Tucídides que han sido entendidos de distintas maneras, y propongo y defiendo para cada uno una interpretación determinada. Los pasajes se refieren a la virtud de Nicias (Th. 7.86.5), a la constitución de los 5000 (Th. 8.97.2), al intercambio de las valoraciones inherentes a las palabras, cuando hay estasis (Th. 3.82.3), y a la reproducción de discursos políticos y arengas militares en la historia de Tucídides (Th. 1.22.1).
