De concordia, el último tratado escrito por Anselmo, constituye un punto central en el proceso genético de su pensamiento. Trataré de señalar los aspectos estructurales generales de este texto que considero importantes para identificar la pertenencia a este proceso: a) este trabajo se inscribe –junto con el Monologion y el Cur deus homo– en el proceso de desconstrucción del pensamiento especulativo anselmiano; b) el aspecto especulativo está estrechamente asociado con el lenguaje a través de la noción “nihil”; c) la articulación entre la libertad y la necesidad en el Monologion, y el despliegue del centro en el De concordia (en el centro del texto y también como objetivo central) son ambos subsidiarios de lo antes dicho. De concordia, the last treatise written by Anselmo, constitutes a privileged high point in the genetic process of his thought.
