We begin by addressing learning and teaching in general; then we touch upon research; next, we attempt to clarify some of the various meanings of the expression "technical-practical teaching"; then we compare technique to practice and technique to science; and finally, we conclude with some thoughts on learning science, technique, and practice at the university."
