Our findings show how certain aesthetic values transmitted in them are associated with health models implemented in our environment, which are diverse and even contradictory. The differences in the analyzed health models allude to the public policies that support them, to their conceptual definitions and to the constitutional and legal regulations that accompany\ntheir implementation, with very concrete consequences. Lomas de Zamora, Argentina Argentina La Plata Gastron, Andrea L. 2024 El marco de nuestra investigación pone el foco en la estética presente en una serie de esculturas asociadas al derecho, para conocer sus rasgos socio-jurídicos explícitos o implícitos. En la contribución que aquí resumimos, estudiamos un grupo de monumentos y bustos ubicados en la ciudad de La Plata, que fueron objeto de sucesivas intervenciones urbanas. Los hallazgos obtenidos dan cuenta de cómo ciertos valores estéticos trasmitidos en ellas se asocian a modelos de salud implementados en nuestro medio, los cuales son diversos e incluso contradictorios entre sí. Las diferencias en los modelos sanitarios analizados aluden a las políticas públicas que les dan sustento, a sus definiciones conceptuales y a la normativa constitucional y legal que acompaña su implementación, con consecuencias muy\nconcretas.
