Sumario:The reconstruction of the Greek state, at the fall of the dictatorship of the colonels which raged in the country between 1967 and 1974, was largely based on a certain idea of oblivion. Once the sentences were pronounced, following the trials of the main leaders, political and social life resumed its course, leaving many gray areas and above all many unresolved cases, responsibilities not imputed, victims deprived of repair. A pattern of impunity, a legacy of the Occupation and the civil war, seemed to set in, perpetuating a feeling of injustice towards the victims but above all towards the collective memory and that of future generations. Diving into the small and the big history, this study offers keys to understanding the phenomenon, particularly from the perspective of the doctrine of responsibility and analyzes the remedies put forward by the modern doctrine of transitional justice.
