Sumario:History has shown that the progress of technology tends to shake the pillars of culture. In the case of Civil Procedural Law, technology accelerates its influence due to the recent Covid-19 pandemic, which forced to carry out trials where virtuality has surpassed face-to-face. If this is the case, what we should do with - principle of immediacy - It is time to say goodbye - Or we should redefine its meaning? This article is based on the hypothesis that the future of Civil Procedural Law lies in IT. It also deals with this issue and proposes a special effort in order to enable that technology could spread its benefits to the common suffering of judicial adventure
