In this context, this project intends to analyze and provide information on the basin?s industrial dynamics, its actors and interests, in relation to the inter jurisdictional compendium of territorial and environmental standards that promote and regulate industrial activity. From the selection of two cases of study, the city of Buenos Aires and the municipality of Lanús, we wonder: which are the obstacles that territorial and environmental regulations present for the development of productive activities? How are costs and benefits of the industrial activity distributed on the territory? The results of this research will provide information about the performance of the institutional and economic actors in the new context of environmental management, a diagnosis of the productive profile and industrial dynamics of the selected cases and barriers / facilitators presented for innovation, restructuring, production specialization of activities that are located there. Asimismo, con la creación de la Autoridad de Cuenca Matanza-Riachuelo (2006) se inició una nueva etapa de gestión socioambiental y debate sobre la futura matriz productiva de la Cuenca. En este marco, este proyecto se propuso analizar y producir información sobre la dinámica industrial de la Cuenca, sus actores e intereses, frente al compendio interjurisdiccional de normas territoriales y ambientales que promueven y regulan la actividad industrial. A partir de la selección de dos casos de estudio, la Ciudad de Buenos Aires y el Municipio de Lanús, nos interrogamos: ¿Qué obstáculos presentan las normativas territoriales y ambientales vigentes para el desarrollo de las actividades productivas? ¿Cómo se distribuyen territorialmente los costos y beneficios de la actividad industrial?
