The Paraná River was a relevant factor in the location of the population and the development of its activities, but it was also an obstacle in communications and a means of penetration in times of the conquest. In the last decades it began to be seen as a transportation corridor for the acceleration of the extraction of resources for the global economy. Thus, on the waterway, port activities were reconfigured with the establishment of large terminals where multiple functions are performed, from storage through processing to export. These terminals make up an outstanding soybean processing cluster in the north of the Rosario Metropolitan Area, in Puerto General San Martín and in San Lorenzo. Togheter with the waterway, the new port activities and the change in their scale, territorial transformations have been generated both at the regional level and in the local áreas, crossed by the new dynamics that this project prints, in a space that appears as a scenario of socio-territorial conflicts derived from the dynamics of the capitalist system. This is manifested in a context of asymmetric relationships and unequal development, where conflicts are the result of the actions of actors operating with diverse interests and capacities to print their demands. For this reason, this research set out to analyze the emergence and the management of transport corridor projects that account for the production of the territory on a global, national and local scale. To this end, processes, places and actors were questioned, and strategies and interests related to very different scales behind the transformation of the territory were examined.\nThe manifestations of global processes in the local territories linked to the Paraná-Paraguay waterway axis (in Puerto General San Marín and in San Lorenzo) were analyzed. For this purpose, the analysis of the transformations of the global economy at the local was investigated: at the political level (which actions are carried out, which actors participate), at the economic level (global flows on the local level, overlaping with local flows) at the spatial material level (territorial deployment) and at the social, demographic and housing level. The work is divided into five parts. In the first one, the problem that motivated the work is presented, then the relation of Transport in the production of the territory is analyzed. Subsequently, the image of the territory thought in relation to global dynamics and plans for the territories, is recovered. The fourth part analyzes the territory produced (or being produced) in both cases. Finally, it is reflected on the manifestations of these global processes in the organization of the territory, in the local economy, in management and in the environment. Phenomena of different scales converge in the analyzed territory. The port cities analyzed are structured as anchorage places for globalized flows. They constitute a fraction of globality, a synthesis of interrelations, of complementary and contradictory processes between the global and the local, which come into play in the production of the territory. |

En las últimas décadas comenzó a ser visto como corredor de transporte para la aceleración de la extracción de recursos para la economía global. Así, en la vía fluvial, se reconfiguraron las actividades portuarias con el establecimiento de grandes terminales donde se realizan múltiples funciones, desde el almacenamiento pasando por el procesamiento hasta la exportación. Estas terminales conforman un destacado clúster de procesamiento de soja en el norte del Área Metropolitana de Rosario, en Puerto General San Martín y en San Lorenzo. Junto a la hidrovía, a las nuevas actividades portuarias y el cambio en su escala, se han generado transformaciones territoriales tanto a nivel regional como en los ámbitos locales atravesados por las nuevas dinámicas que imprime este proyecto, en un espacio que aparece como escenario de conflictos socio-territoriales derivados de la dinámica propia del sistema capitalista. Esto se manifiesta en un contexto de relaciones asimétricas y de desarrollo desigual, donde los conflictos son producto del accionar de actores que operan con diversos intereses y capacidades para imprimir sus demandas. Por ello esta investigación se propuso analizar la emergencia y la gestión de los proyectos de corredores de transporte que dan cuenta de la producción del territorio a escala global, nacional y local. Para ello se interpelaron procesos, lugares y actores, se examinaron estrategias e intereses que relacionados a muy diferentes escalas están por detrás de la transformación del territorio.\nSe analizaron las manifestaciones de los procesos globales en los territorios locales vinculados al eje Hidrovía Paraná-Paraguay, en Puerto General San Martín y en San Lorenzo). Para ello se indagó en el análisis de las transformaciones de la economía global en lo local: en lo político (qué acciones se concretan, qué actores participan), en lo económico (los flujos globales sobre lo local, la superposición con flujos locales) en el aspecto material espacial (el despliegue territorial) y en las cuestiones sociales, demográficas y habitacionales. El trabajo se integra en cinco partes. En la primera de ellas se presenta el problema que motivó el trabajo, luego se analiza la relación del Transporte en la producción del territorio. Posteriormente se recupera la imagen de territorio pensado en relación a las dinámicas globales, los planes para los territorios. En la cuarta parte se analiza el territorio producido (o siendo producido) en los dos casos. Finalmente se reflexiona sobre las manifestaciones de estos procesos globales en la organización del territorio, en la economía local, en la gestión y en el ambiente. Fenómenos de distintas escalas confluyen en el territorio analizado. Las ciudades portuarias que se analizaron se estructuran como lugar de anclaje de los flujos globalizados.
