| Sumario: | Abstract: Since the foundation of the first universities in our country to date, the role of higher education in relation to its function in society has been constantly changing. University has been seen as a space for the development of the citizens' wisdom but also a place where skills for a professional practice could be gained. It might sound counterintuitive but in law schools the concern for practical education has not been, historically speaking, a matter of great concern. Departing from the notions of utility and relevance, the aim of this essay is to trace how different models of practical training in law schools have responded to the demand for a relationship between the university and the social problems of the space-time context in which they are inserted. |
