Sumario:Abstract: The feminization of the law degree in Mexico was a gradual process that began during the second half of the 20th century. Gender parity was reached during the first decade of the 21st century, as a result of feminine inclusion in legal education. This research paper statistically describes the participation of women in law schools through five categories: new enrollments, students, students who completed their studies, students that hold a diploma, and licensed attorneys. Then, a comparative analysis was done between the feminization of law schools and the feminization of higher education in general; and second, between law schools and the disciplinary area of social sciences and management. After the analysis, it was concluded that women gradually won spaces in legal education as a result of their high performance and achievements, transforming what once was a totally masculine sphere, into a space where women can thrive.\n
