Six canines with ocular alterations and clinical signology compatible with MGA from the Hospital School of the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires were diagnosed by the presence of antibodies against serum acetylcholine receptor (ACRA). These animals showed visual deficits, with P100 waves of diminished amplitude values in evoked potentials (VEP). They were treated with 0.5 mg / kg pyridostigmine bromide orally every 12 h, for 30 days and after this period, they were re-evaluated. The VEP obtained after treatment showed that 80% (5/6) of the animals increased the amplitude of the P100 wave. Mundo, S.L. 2020 La miastenia gravis adquirida (MGA) es una enfermedad inmnunomediada que afecta a la especie canina, causada por la presencia de anticuerpos contra los colinoreceptores nicotínicos postsinápticos y la consiguiente interferencia en la transmisión neuromuscular de los músculos voluntarios. Seis caninos con alteraciones oculares y signología clínica compatible con MGA provenientes del Hospital Escuela de la Facultad de Ciencias Veterinarias de la Universidad de Buenos Aires fueron diagnosticados por la presencia de anticuerpos anti receptor de acetilcolina en suero (ACRA). Estos animales mostraron déficits visuales, con ondas P100 de valores de amplitud disminuidas en los potenciales evocados (PEV). Se los trató con Bromuro de piridostigmina 0,5 mg/kg vía oral cada 12 h, durante 30 días y luego de este período, se re-evaluaron. Los PEV obtenidos luego del tratamiento mostraron que el 80% (5/6) de los animales incrementaron la amplitud de la onda P100.
