This work, developed by the Department of Teacher Training at the Faculty of Law (University of Buenos Aires), aims to present the experience of the first module of this training program, open to teaching assistants at the Faculty. This module focuses on content related to teaching the historical and political dimensions of the University. The first module of the Teacher Training Program, entitled "University Pedagogy," analyzes the transformations of the Argentine University throughout its nearly two-hundred-year history and seeks to focus attention on the notion of university crisis (a term frequently used to characterize us as an institution), referring to a crisis of meaning: What is the University? What is its purpose in the contemporary world? What distinguishes it from other professional training institutions? Therefore, throughout the sessions, a dialogue is established that, on the one hand, allows for a diagnosis of the University's situation (drawing on history and politics), and on the other hand, critically analyzes its place in society, in relation to the State, and especially in relation to the university community itself (hence the emphasis on the philosophical question of the University's purpose). The objective of this course is to introduce knowledge that will later be complemented by other subjects such as general and specific didactics, legal teaching practice, writing, argumentation techniques, and voice management, among others, over four semesters. Buenos Aires, Argentina Argentina Kandel, Victoria N. 2010 El presente trabajo emerge del Departamento de Carrera Docente de la Facultad de Derecho (UBA), y tiene como propósito dar a conocer la experiencia que se desarrolla en el primer módulo de este ámbito de formación abierto a auxiliares docentes de la Facultad, donde se trabajan contenidos vinculados a la enseñanza de las dimensiones histórica y política de esta Universidad. El primer módulo de la Carrera Docente, denominado "Pedagogía universitaria", analiza las transformaciones de la Universidad argentina a lo largo de su casi bicentenaria historia, y busca centrar la atención en la noción de crisis universitaria (término empleado muy frecuentemente para caracterizarnos como institución), remitiendo a la crisis de sentido: ¿qué es la Universidad?, ¿cuál es su sentido en el mundo contemporáneo?, ¿qué la diferencia de otras instituciones de formación profesional? Es por ello que a lo largo de los encuentros, se entabla un diálogo que, por un lado permite diagnosticar la situación de la Universidad (para lo cual se recurre a la historia y a la política), y por otro, se analiza críticamente su lugar frente a la sociedad, frente al Estado, y principalmente frente a los propios universitarios (de ahí el énfasis en la pregunta filosófica acerca del sentido de la Universidad). El objetivo de este espacio curricular es introducir saberes que luego serán complementados por otros como didáctica en general, didáctica específica y práctica de enseñanza en Derecho, escritura, técnicas de argumentación, gestión de la voz, entre otras, durante cuatro semestres.
