Thus, the paper addresses the issue of assessment and the teaching method known as role-play in these two aspects: (i) the suitability of the method to the teaching of Law and (ii) tools for assessment of student when applying the role-play, and the role of the teacher as an evaluator. Some assessment tools were also appointed in order to demonstrate that different types of assessment may be required when applying different teaching methods. The choice among them will depend on the didactic purpose proposed by the professor and/or the activity that has to be carried out. San Pablo, Brasil Brasil Pinto Sica, Ligia Paula Pires 2011 Teniendo en cuenta que el desarrollo de ciertas habilidades y competencias de los estudiantes de Derecho se encuentra directamente relacionado con el estudio y el perfeccionamiento del debate sobre los métodos participativos de enseñanza así como también con el papel de la evaluación de la aplicación de éstos, este trabajo intenta contribuir al debate en torno a la enseñanza del Derecho a partir del role-play, enfatizando que la evaluación del estudiante forma parte de este proceso. De esta manera, el texto aborda la cuestión de la evaluación y el método de enseñanza conocido como role-play en estos dos aspectos: (i) la adecuación del método para la enseñanza del Derecho y (ii) herramientas para la evaluación del alumno cuando aplica el role-play, así como también el papel del docente como evaluador. Los instrumentos de evaluación fueron también designados para demostrar que se precisan distintos tipos de evaluación cuando se aplican distintos métodos de enseñanza.
