| Sumario: | The Ignorant Schoolmaster: Five Lessons in Intellectual Emancipation of Rancière is an innovative text that proposes a singular reflection on the practice of teaching. The book's thesis claim that the teacher's explanation act as a serious obstacle for a genuine learning. As well as an obstacle for the own emancipation of the student. The author develops the idea that from the education method of the explanation it's only result rude consequences on the student. Rancière's proposal, which is really interesting for academic debates, displays the logic of the pedagogic control close to theories of consciousness, the understanding, the correct competences, and the educational psychology. The critic perspective of this paper doesn't try to defend of what the text throws away but to cross-examine the violences and many suspects in the ways to expect learning. Also, to cross-examine the uses made by Ranciere of Jacotot, Fenelon, the benefits of writing against other way, and of the moral senses of emancipation. Finally it can be show upon Raciere's proposal learning without explanation, a classroom or any other as one space with more control and governess which is what it was pretended to cancel. |
