Sumario:This article analyzes the "reproduction" of the dominant pedagogical discourse in lawyers' training -considered as formalist and positivist- in other areas of legal education. Specifically, the case of civic education in high school is addressed, where the particular modes of expression of these traits are examined: centrality of the regulatory text and scarcity of conceptual and contextual elements. This type of teaching can hinder a good learning content by students, because of the type of thinking and ways of reasoning of adolescence. This article shows results of research in civics classes -in particular the treatment of the subject of the National Constitution- and concludes with some lines to rethink legal education in high school.
