Sumario:The aim of this work is to present partial results from a research about the last curriculum reform in the National University of Rosario (UNR) Law School. The research approach was external and therefore the analisys and results differ from the typical internal studies about legal curriculum and pedagogy. The theroretical framework has two levels. The first one is made of Pierre Bourdieu concepts and his research about the French university. Basil Bernstein theory of knowledge context is also part of this first level. The second level of the theoretical framework includes discourse analysis tools. These tools will make possible to revise professors, strategies related to different capitals and the disputes among the members from different positions: dominant and dominated. The public audience in which was discussed the curriculum reform will be then analyzed with this linguistic approach.
