Sumario:The recent legislative reforms occurred in Argentina -especially since the enactment of the law 26,618 regarding same-sex marriage and its consolidation in the new Civil and Commercial Code, in force since 01.08.2015, without being able to deny the more qualitative rather than quantitative impact of the law 26,743 related to gender-identity, constitute a turning point in the critical analysis of family law training. The transformation of Family Law (in singular) to Families Law (in plural) not only made a substantial change to the syllabus, but also -mainly and essentially- in the conceptualization and perspective from which it must be studied. Which are the new learning tools? Which are the issues that come to expand the field of study? Which are the strategies needed for this new paradigm? These are the questions that will be elucidated in this article in order to understand the role of the law in transforming reality and, at the same time, in challenging the teaching of law.
