From this analysis it is suggested that hCG could be applied in sheep in order to stimulate the synthesis of luteal progesterone, the formation of accessory corpora lutea, uterine and placental function, fetal growth, fertility and prolificacy. Callejas, S. 2016 En este trabajo se describen los diferentes procesos fisiológicos de la función luteal en relación al mantenimiento de la gestación. Se presenta una revisión de los resultados que evalúan los efectos de la aplicación de la gonadotrofina coriónica humana (hCG) con la finalidad de reducir las pérdidas embrionarias.
