Nevertheless, as the dictatorship progressed, the relationship became more problematic and con-tradictory. The article considersthe way in which the Chamber took position and negotiated with the set ofpolicies carried out by the Dictatorship and inquires if these positions faithfully represented the general interests and demands of the sector during that period. Este trabajo busca analizar los posicionamientos de la Cámara Argentina de la Construcción (CAC) respecto a la última dictadura militar argentina. El golpe militar de 1976 fue recibido con expectativa y esperanza por parte de la CAC, máxima representante de las empresas de la construcción en ese período y una de las entidades patronales más poderosas del país. Sin embargo, a medida que avanzó el “Proceso”, el vínculo entre la CAC y el gobierno militar se volvió cada vez más conflictivo.
