Our aim will be to understand this story as part of the author´s reflection on the charismatic and itinerant leadership, resisted by the end of the first century by new local authorities with a domestic base. While Acts vindicates the power of the apostles-prophets other contemporary writings such as Didache are demanding that the community tests charismatic teachers and take refuge in local leaders. Uno de los episodios más extraños de Hechos de los Apóstoles es el relativo a Ananías y Safira, creyentes que mueren súbitamente por defraudar a la iglesia con el importe de una donación. Nuestro objetivo será comprender este relato como parte de la reflexión del autor sobre el liderazgo carismático e itinerante, resistido hacia fines del siglo I por nuevas autoridades locales con base doméstica.
