I will try to demonstrate that those differences do not necessary imply Plotinus is distancing from Plato, but that they express the plotinian philosophical practice and his exegetic method. En el presente trabajo analizaré el primer capítulo del tratado III 9 (13) de las Enéadas y los tres primeros capítulos de III 2 (47) en los que Plotino alude –explícita o implícitamente– al Timeo de Platón en función de la asimilación de su segunda hipóstasis con el demiurgo. El estudio no solamente se centra en los puntos de contacto que pueden establecerse entre ambas nociones, sino que, y fundamentalmente, aspira a explicitar aquellos contrastes que tradicionalmente se ha entendido que presentan ambas figuras.
