description This article analyzes the family housing strategies that socially produced the habitat in the 29 de Septiembre neighborhood in San Carlos de Bariloche. In this way, a case study is advanced on the process of formation of said neighborhood, originated in 2011, from a land seizure on the periphery of the southern extension of the city. To address them, the objective and subjective factors implicit in these strategies are posed as questions, and how they were related. Along these lines, the cognitive purpose lies in reconstructing these objective structures and subjective constructions, to elucidate the external character of social practices, and, in turn, the availability of resources and the capacity for invention of families. Firstly, through bibliographic review and documentary analysis, the dynamics of the real estate market and the state of municipal ordinances sanctioned in the post-convertibility period are examined. Secondly, through semi-structured interviews carried out with heads of households, the available volumes of economic, educational and housing capital are reconstructed. And, concomitantly, the experiences and meanings lived are interpreted. In this way, this land taking process is approached by relating the framework of external coercions independent of families, with the action and decision schemes to overcome them. Both dimensions of social reality are thus articulated to explain the contextual factors that restricted access to land. And, in a concatenated way, understand how these housing strategies were structured based on a certain availability of resources.

And, in a concatenated way, understand how these housing strategies were structured based on a certain availability of resources.
