Taking many of this works as example, it introduces some perspectives to reflect on the way that theatre positions itself regarding these two hundred years and how it puts them in question. Este trabajo aborda la relación Teatro-Bientenario a partir de una mirada a la edición 2010 del Festival Internacional Santiago a Mil, cuya programación incluyó una sección consagrada a revisar la historia del teatro chileno, la presentación de la última obra de Pina Bausch, dedicada a Chile, y una selección de teatro contemporáneo de tres países que también conmemoran este año su Bicentenario: México, Argentina y Colombia.
