Sumario:  This article is focused on the food and its variants, which assume at present an increasing importance in the dramatic and scenic writing, while auto-referential postulation of the theatrical fact. The authoress refers to the food that actors and spectators consume -and sometimes, they share- along the spectacle, and also to the food understood as a way of knowing, as a model of research on the reality and the intersubjective links that cross it, that is to say, as an interpretive key not only of the scene, but also about the spectators.
