Splitting this history as in "Women on stage" is only one of many possible categorizations. The urgent need of rescuing them, also means the creation of a meeting time, so as to build together with them a common and necessarily pluralistic history. Este artículo propone un diálogo desde lo provisional del acto escénico, con lo perdurable de las imágenes y documentos relacionados con las artistas que pasaron por el escenario del Teatro Solís entre 1856 y 1947. Ellas constituyen un repositorio fundamental para conocer repertorios, puestas en escenas, influencias, contexto de las producciones, roles, construcción de personajes, y hasta el manejo de su imagen en fuentes inéditas y documentación contenida en el CIDDAE. Segmentar esta historia en "mujeres en escena" es sólo una clasificación posible.
