Sumario:  On the basis of the performative tendency that has flourished in theatrical practice over the last years, challenging the limits of the postdramatic scene, this article analyzes the representation of catastrophe and its "normality" in the plays Schwarzes Tier Traurigkeit (premiered in 2007 in Hannover), by Anja Hilling, and worst case (premiered in 2008 in Freiburg), by Kathrin Röggla. The study focuses on the catastrophic discourse tending to sublimation and on the role of the victim between re-presentation, presence and corporality.
