Sumario:Ohú Chey Chalo Cué was a group born in 2000 as a result of the promotion policies of the National Theater Institute, in Formosa, Argentina. Coming from an inland town, they arrived in 2005 to the national scene with their masterpiece “El payé”, an absurd melodrama about local esoteric practices. This paper presents details of the reconstruction of the staging, through a look at its history and context of production.
