Narration is structured by random temporal blocks separated in periods of more than five years in which the magazine was not published. Bibliometric analysis results are included about archaeological contributions in terms of gender and authorship composition; as well as qualitative remarks about the matters dealt with by the most prolific authors in the different historical moments. Se narra el contexto de surgimiento de Runa en el seno de la Universidad de Buenos Aires y el derrotero de las contribuciones arqueológicas dentro de la revista a lo largo del tiempo, buscando establecer sus relaciones con los cambios institucionales y políticos y con el devenir de la práctica arqueológica en el país. El relato se organiza en bloques temporales arbitrarios separados por períodos de más de cinco años en los cuales se suspendió la edición de la revista. Se incluyen resultados de análisis bibliométricos acerca de las contribuciones arqueológicas en términos de género y composición de autorías; así también como observaciones cualitativas acerca de los temas trabajados por los autores más prolíficos en los diferentes momentos históricos. São narrados o contexto do surgimento da Runa na Universidade de Buenos Aires e o curso das contribuições arqueológicas da revista ao longo do tempo, buscando estabelecer suas relação es com as mudanças institucionais e políticas e com a evolução da prática arqueológica no país. A história é organizada em blocos temporais, separados por períodos de mais de cinco anos em que a edição da revista foi suspensa.
