The methodology adopted relied on the observation of the work routine, the conciliation hearings, analysis of interviews as well as the conversations in the waiting room. As other researchs points out, the legal sphere can be seen as an arena of disputed moralities in which users bring their own morality and strategies of resistance to the scene, which ends up competing with the official legality of the search for paternal affiliation. El objetivo de este trabajo es, a partir de la práctica del Centro de Promoción de la Afiliación y Paternidade (NPF), presentar un estudio etnográfico sobre las diferentes moralidades, sensibilidades y nociones de verdad que se articulan y tensan entre las madres convocadas y profesionales en torno a los procedimientos de reconocimiento espontáneo de la filiación paterna. La metodología adoptada reunió la observación tanto de la rutina de trabajo como de las audiencias de conciliación, análisis de entrevistas y conversaciones dirigidas en la sala de espera. El artículo propone entender, como señalan otras investigaciones, el ámbito jurídico como un escenario de moralidades disputadas que movilizan estrategias de resistencia y agencia, con órdenes normativos que muchas veces compiten con la legalidad oficial en la búsqueda de la filiación paterna. O objetivo deste artigo consiste em, a partir da prática do Núcleo de Promoção a Filiação e Paternidade em Maceió-AL (NPF), apresentar estudo etnográfico sobre as distintas moralidades, sensibilidades e noções de verdade que se articulam e se tensionam entre as mães intimadas e as profissionais em torno dos procedimentos de reconhecimento espontâneo da filiação paterna. A metodologia reuniu a observação tanto da rotina de trabalho quanto das audiências de conciliação, a análise de entrevistas e conversas guiadas por roteiro aberto na sala de espera.
