Sumario:In this article we ask how the nursing career is configured as a future project for popular class women who finished their studies within the framework of the FinEs2 Plan. In methodological terms, we take up again an empirical corpus built in a research developed in two popular districts of the city of La Plata during the years 2013-2020. From an ethnographic approach we analyzed records of participant observations in different neighborhood spaces and in-depth interviews with female students. We supported the need to problematize the linearity of the links between education and work, incorporating the analysis of the articulation of different dimensions that mediate and intervene in the processes of project configuration. Finally, we argued that in the FinEs2 graduates the representations about the future were linked to different spheres of life where nursing appears as an opportunity to broaden the horizon of the possible.
