In this article, we bring to light our own process and how our continued presence affects our way of thinking about educational practices as workshop instructors as well as anthropology students in favor of intercultural education.Our analysis looks at drawings, written works and audiovisual recordings allowing us to consider the activity of the children to be a part of the active co-construction of their reality. We propose that through this creative process, discourses that give value to the children’s own experience gain new value. Nuestra investigación consiste en explorar la compleja construcción de identidades en un taller semanal de expresión creativa que tiene lugar en el Centro de Acción Familiar (CAF) de Bajo Flores, un barrio porteño con mucha población proveniente tanto del norte argentino como de Bolivia y con una visible marginación social. En este trabajo exponemos nuestro proceso y cómo nuestra presencia continua repercute en nuestras formas de pensar las prácticas educativas como talleristas y estudiantes de Antropología a favor de la educación intercultural.El análisis en base a dibujos, escritos y grabaciones audiovisuales nos permite ver el accionar de los niños y las niñas como sujetos activos co constructores de su realidad.
