Los amores de Giacumina and Marianina, anonymous brochures published in the newspaper El Liberal of Buenos Aires, January and June of 1886, represent the first examples of this production, Roberto Raschella’s novels – Diálogos de los patios rojos (1994), Si hubiéramos vivido aquí (1998), La follia utopistica (2015) – propose a contemporary reformulation of this code. Their comparison makes it possible to appreciate the strong change of intentionality of the cocolichesque works, which can be profitably read by referring to the concept of heterogeneous literature proposed, in another context, by Antonio Cornejo Polar. El presente trabajo se propone observar el uso literario del cocoliche –o, mejor dicho, de la reconstrucción culta de esa lengua– haciendo hincapié en obras cronológicamente distantes. Los amores de Giacumina y Marianina, folletines anónimos publicados en el diario El Liberal de Buenos Aires entre enero y junio de 1886, representan los primeros ejemplos de esta producción; las novelas de Roberto Raschella –Diálogos de los patios rojos (1994), Si hubiéramos vivido aquí (1998), La follia utopistica (2015)– proponen una reformulación contemporánea de dicho código.
