Given this new environment characterized by the speed of change we need reconsider and rethink new service strategies when the reader, understood in its deepest essence and in its otherness, is the core. He think about various themes: the research method, the historical reflection, the exercise and construction of power, the philosophical-epistemological thinking, the importance of recognizing the variety and diversity of local records, the challenges of information retrieval using natural language, and the techno-electronics wave. The librarian fears solution lies in recognize the signals, verbalize the fears, and address them with an open mind.
