In this paper, we present the techno-morphological analysis of two lithic assemblages that are part of the Guaraní archaeological collections “Isla Martín García” and “La Correntina”. Results suggest that the lithic production was oriented towards obtaining bipolar flakes made from local rocks. Also, the identification of specific artifacts suggests activities related to the production of tembetás, wooden shafts, and grounded axes. Los estudios sobre tecnología guaraní han estado enfocados principalmente en la alfarería, relegando otros componentes que constituyen la cultura material, especialmente los artefactos líticos. Sin embargo, en las últimas décadas se observa un aumento en los análisis sistemáticos de estos materiales en particular, previamente postergados. En este trabajo se presenta el análisis tecno-morfológico de dos conjuntos líticos que forman parte de las colecciones arqueológicas guaraníes “Isla Martín García” y “La Correntina”. Los resultados sugieren que los objetivos de talla en los sitios estuvieron orientados a la producción de lascas por talla bipolar a partir de rocas locales.
