At the same time, it shows the foundation to overcome the concept, both for Russia and other historical experiences through the contributions that the perspectives of Transnational History offers. El presente trabajo intenta debatir y superar la categoría “escuela nacional”, ampliamente utilizada por la historiografía para hacer referencia a las experiencias culturales de la modernidad en regiones consideradas periféricas, a partir del grupo de compositores rusos del siglo XIX conocidos como moguchaya kuchka. La investigación resalta la incompatibilidad de tal denominación con la experiencia analizada y, al mismo tiempo, expone los fundamentos para una superación del concepto, que puede ser útil tanto para Rusia como para otras experiencias históricas, a partir de los aportes que ofrece la perspectiva de la Historia transnacional. Este artigo procura discutir e superar a categoria “escola nacional”, amplamente utilizada pelos historiadores para se referir às experiências culturais da modernidade em regiões consideradas periféricas, a partir da reflexão sobre o grupo de compositores russos do século XIX conhecido como moguchaya kuchka. A pesquisa destaca a incompatibilidade desse nome com a experiência analisada e, ao mesmo tempo, estabelece a base para superar este conceito.
